Astraea is proud to announce that Miles Goff, currently the Executive Assistant at Astraea, will be joining our Program Team as Program Associate this fall. “Miles has proved invaluable over the past three years,” said Executive Director, Katherine Acey. “Now his deep experience with Astraea and the field of social justice philanthropy will be a wonderful addition to our Program staff.”
“I am so honored and excited to join Mai, Dulce, Namita and Fly in their work with the brave and critical organizations that challenge us all to work for queer liberation rooted in racial, economic and gender justice,” said Miles. As Program Associate, Miles will be responsible for administration of the U.S. Panel Grants, the Astraea Visual Arts Award, the Margo Karle Scholarship Fund, and management of the new grants internship program.
“It has been a great pleasure to work with Miles over the past few years, and I am confident that he will excel in this new position as he did on the Executive Team,” said Mai Kiang, Director of Programs. “I am thrilled to have Miles onboard as program staff, especially after working closely with him on our International Youth Fund Initiative and our Multi-Year Movement-Building grantee convening at the Raising Change Conference.”
